hey everyone Erich Niederlehner with

0:02

trusted elder law I want to talk about

0:04

funding your trust so you've created

0:07

this revocable living trust to avoid

0:09

probate and the way we avoid probate is

0:12

by retitling all your assets your bank

0:14

accounts brokerage accounts real estate

0:17

from your individual names or join if

0:19

you're married into the name of your

0:22

trust it's a simple process but you do

0:24

have to take that next step and actually

0:26

go to the banks and your broker or

0:28

whoever and retitled those accounts once

0:32

you get to the

0:33

bank basically you just say Mr Miss

0:36

Banker I need to re retitle all my bank

0:39

accounts here into the name of my

0:41

revocable living trust if you have a

0:43

trust from trusted elder law it's a very

0:46

simple process I have forms I have um

0:50

step by step instructions and

0:53

essentially the banker types in the

0:55

trustees names and the name of the trust

0:58

into their computer prints out new

1:01

signature cards for the

1:03

account the trustee and any co- trustee

1:06

sign the new signature cards and you're

1:08

done it's retitled into the name of the

1:11

trust then you go to your NE next bank

1:13

or credit union and do the same thing

1:16

and once you've retitled all your bank

1:19

accounts into the name of the trust all

1:21

your brokerage accounts and um any real

1:24

estate that you may have into the name

1:25

of the trust you're done and just

1:27

remember if you open up a new bank

1:30

account brokerage account or buy new

1:32

real estate you buy it in the name of

1:34

the trust not your individual name so if

1:38

you're interested in a revocable living

1:39

trust give us a call or look us up on
